Special thanks to Ben and Gloria for providing the wonderful accomodation and also for accompanying us .

and of course, Thanks to Cissy, my beloved Wife, and my best travel companion which is the only reason why the trip was fantastic.

LAX -> SFO (17/2 - 22/2/2007)

Special Edition - Eating in LA and SF

Denny's - Traditional American Cafe, nothing special ***

In-N-Out Drive thru
Aninal Style Fries - Fries with Bacon/Cheese/Onion with special sauce! Brilliant! ****

Tommy's Hamburgers - claim to have long history, quality average. ***

Golden Vine Winery (Inside Disney CA adverture) - basically Italian cuisine, Pasta. Really nice but also real heavy :P ****

Lori's Diner (SFO airport) - they have shops everywhere. The eggs benedict here is very delicious ****

The Spinnaker (Sausalito) - Nice view and good food and service. Clam Chowder quite nice. Seafood very fresh. ****

Hamburgers (Sausalito) - actually did not try but Ben said its good, usually a long queue and takeaway only. ***

Trish's mini Donuts - cute small donuts with cinnamon, very tasty ****

Cold Stone - USD 5 for an ice cream but worth every penny of it, my fav still peanut butter! ****

Fisherman's foodstand - did not try the famous crab but soup and oyster only....well, think other sit down Restaurants are much better. Will recommend Boudin Sourdough Bakery as a safer bet for chowder or crabs. ***

LAX -> SFO (17/2 - 22/2/2007)

Day 6 - Napa Valley -> HKG

Ben and Gloria took the day off and four of us went to Napa Valley for some Wine tasting.

First was Chandon Winery, famous for its Champagne.

Then we did a full tour at Robert Mondavi's, a very good tour, takes about an hour and explains the whole wine making process quite well.

Then of course, a tri-tip steak afterwards and we headback to Mountain View to meet up Andrew and his frd at In-N-Out, then basketball night.

Really, I dun think I can ever find a better basketball partner, Ben and I rock :P

So, there you go, another fantastic tour comes to an end...

LAX -> SFO (17/2 - 22/2/2007)

Day 5 - The Rock Alcatraz

Wanted to visit the Rock for many years, well, finally got the chance.

A very interesting 2-3 hour tour that I would really recommend anyone to join ;)

Then we hanged out at Fisherman's Wharf, eating is of course the main agenda.

We stopped by Lombard street, however. all flowers are gone by now, just able to catch some sakura...

Then we headed back to join Ben and Gloria again for some steak near Stanford! Yippee!

LAX -> SFO (17/2 - 22/2/2007)

Day 4 - Move from LAX -> SFO

Woke up at 3:30am to catch the 6am flt, partly to meet up Egg, where he brought Emily to the US for his proposal, partly to maximise time! :P

Congrats to Egg and Emily again!!

After sending the Tang's off to their flt to HK, we picked up our car and head to the Golden Gate Bridge. Magnificent View! Apart from the official Vista point, best to go uphill where you can get a full view of the bridge.

Right over the bridge, there's a small town called Sausalito, a Leon Lai/Maggie Cheung film was shot here (well, haven't seen it yet and no plans to do that also!)

Despite that, its a very beautiful peaceful city :P

Then while the sun is still out, we head to Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Union Square for a quick look around.

After that, quick exhuasted, so, we drove to Ben's Place at San Jose. Dinner at Cheescake factory :)
